USE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
At BLS, we continuously explore new technologies to streamline processes and add value for our customers and business partners. We harness the power of artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance many of our products and services, aiming to boost productivity and provide assistance across various areas. This includes the integration of generative AI features, such as those provided by Microsoft Copilot capabilities. If we use Copilot during interactions—such as via Teams meetings or similar platforms—we will process your name, title, contact details, other profile information, correspondence, images, and voice recordings, as applicable, in accordance with your data privacy requirements or settings.
You can learn more about how Microsoft uses AI by visiting their official privacy information. For detailed information regarding Microsoft’s privacy policy and the handling of data within Copilot offerings, please refer to the privacy statement available on Microsoft’s official website.
Our deployment and use of AI are guided by stringent principles and our commitment to responsible AI practices, ensuring that the collection and use of personal data align with our privacy and security standards. BLS gathers data from interactions with you, including data you provide directly as well as information we collect, process, or otherwise generate about your usage and experience. The data collected varies based on your interactions, privacy settings, and the features used. We may also receive data from BLS affiliates, subsidiaries, and third parties.
You can choose which products or services to use and decide what data to share. You may decline to provide personal data; however, some interactions may require it to function properly. If you do not provide the required data, you may be unable to use certain products or services. Similarly, if we need personal data to comply with legal obligations or to fulfill a contract and you do not share it, we may be unable to enter into the contract or may need to suspend or cancel an existing service. We will inform you if such a situation arises.
By leveraging the robust capabilities of AI, BLS remains committed to innovation while upholding the highest standards of responsible AI use and data privacy. The processing of personal data in this context is based on our legitimate interest or your consent, where applicable laws allow. Accountability, fairness, and transparency are essential to our AI practices. Our oversight and governance structures monitor AI deployment and usage, ensuring that users understand and trust the technology. By continuously testing and validating performance and outcomes, we strive to use AI technology in a fair, equitable, and unbiased manner. We are transparent about how our AI technology functions, the data used, and the decisions made. Through these practices, BLS ensures that our AI initiatives are conducted with integrity and respect for user privacy and data protection.
To ensure compliance with local requirements, additional information is available on our local websites or applications as required by local law.
